Paneling is one of the main contributors to an attractive simulator/studio. choosing paneling is predicated on what you are trying to achieve. For instance functionality and versatility one may opt to go with a large theatre drape common in simulators that may serve more than one purpose i.e. Home Theater. For designated golf simulators we recommend custom paneling that can give you more customizable options. Custom paneling not only frames out the simulator nicely but also acts as good sound proofing.

How much does a golf simulator cost?

Unfortunately, there’s no one price fits all when it comes to golf simulators. There are many variables in the design which cause the price to range quite a bit. Please contact us and we will be happy to provide a free quote.

How much space do I need for a golf simulator?

We can work with many different sizes but for optimal swing room, standing space and comfortability for both left-handed and right-handed golfers, we recommend about 15 feet wide, 10 feet tall and 16+ feet deep.

How accurate/realistic are golf simulators?

The technology and software behind today’s golf simulators is spectacular. Launch monitors are able to pickup ball speed, club speed, accurate yardage, spin rate, launch angle, attack angle… the list goes on, all in a fraction of a second. With many launch monitors offering regular updates to their software, it will only continue to improve over time, making your initial investment future-proof.

Once your golf simulator is up and running, you can expect to pay a software annual fee, ranging from $250-$1000 depending on which software you decide to run on your simulator. Maintenance costs should be expected down the line as well when replacing a worn-out strike mat or screen.

How do golf simulators work?

Your launch monitor, no matter which one you go with, will measure and calculate important data points like club speed, ball speed, loft, spin etc. in real time. All of these data points are captured simultaneously, ultimately calculating the carry of the shot and it’s total distance. This data is then processed and fed into the matching software downloaded on your PC. Finally, the data is outputted from your PC through a projector so you can see it all put together on your impact screen. With modern day systems, this entire process is completed in a fraction of a second, making the virtual ball move in real time with your actual ball as it hits the screen, creating a seamless and immersive experience.
